While appearing live on her Facebook page, Juliet said a number of people have been scammed using her name which is very bad. Juliet Zawedde is not happy with fraudsters using her name to cheat innocent people “People get Whatsapp numbers of Canada and USA and also open fake Facebook accounts in my name and start soliciting for money from people in the name of bringing them to USA or Canada promising them jobs and citizenship, these are thieves and don’t fall victims, I am not involved in such kind of stuff, I don’t bring people to USA or Canada,” Zawedde said. “I am warning people using my name in fake accounts to scam innocent people to stop, do the right thing,” she added. “I only have two accounts a verified account and a page which has more than 911k followers, the rest there are fake and run by fraudsters,” she said. Flamboyant Quillino Bamwine, the honorary counsel to Swaziland in Uganda has lost an appeal to stop paying an investor UGX 270 million after selling the said investor land that doesn’t exist.
