Position Overview:
The Senior Process Automation Developer will be responsible for leading efforts with our internal customers to automate end-to-end processes that will increase efficiency and quality. They will leverage various coding languages, technologies, and tools to accomplish this, leveraging both out of the box and custom coded solutions. They will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and internal customers to understand requirements and will be expected to observe process and recommend how our automation tools could be leveraged further. They will lead innovation across business units using a full range of intelligent automation technologies.

- Work independently to design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and maximize efficiency
- Identify and create reusable and custom automation components and maintain workflow standards
- Actively participate in the analysis and review of business and process requirements
- Assists in ensuring business and technical needs and opportunities are identified and satisfied throughout solution development
- Lead code reviews and mentor new employees and junior developers while efficiently maintaining workload
- Provide accurate time estimates, and outline dependencies and milestones
- Help design a scalable RPA framework and architect robust workflows that utilize multiple intelligent automation technologies
- Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions to streamline processes and maximize efficiency
- Research and integrate other intelligent automation technologies into the framework, inclusive of OCR, NLP, AI, and ML
- Lead technical discussions and develop strategies to solve technical challenges
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of automations and troubleshoot as needed.
- Stay current with automation technologies and develop prototypes the demonstrate creative ways of applying automation tools
- Handle tier 2 and 3 level support of automated processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices to support automations
- Collaborate with internal IT team to set up and maintain RPA technical infrastructure and security
- Collaborate with customers and team members to identify and evaluate process automation opportunities and support requirements gathering
- Observe operational processes and recommend automated solutions that will increase efficiency, revenue, and/or reduce errors
- Handle complex problems independently and act as a subject-matter expert
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT/IS, engineering, or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years programming experience using core programming languages (C#, Java) with at least 2+ years utilizing Intelligent Automation technologies (Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere or similar automation tool) to design, build, deploy, and maintain automations
- 3+ Experience with database integrations utilizing SQL
- Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes required
- Experience with other advanced technologies (OCR, NLP, AI, ML) within an intelligent automation framework strongly preferred
- Significant experience developing custom automation components and extending automation tools beyond default capabilities
- Experience with one or more development technology stacks or frameworks (such as Angular, React, Nodejs, Java, Python, etc.) preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects independently
- Experience leveraging CI/CD tools (E.g. Jenkins) and GitHub code repositories and associated workflows
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
