Frank Mwesigwa gearing up for Kabula Parliament Seat

As 2026 gets closer and closer, different individuals have started showing interest in different constituencies.

The latest to join is Mr. Frank Mwesigwa who has vowed to take Kabula County in Lyantonde District seat.

Frank confirmed through his social platforms saying that in 2026, Kabula County will ask for water.

He also confirmed that his colleague Mr. Jean Onyait will contest for Kasilo County in Serere District Parliamentary seat.

“2026 Kabula County & Kasilo county will ask for water. Jean Onyait get notice soon,” Frank tweeted.

Airtel Uganda Pays UGX 50.3 billion Dividend to National Social Security Fund (NSSF)

Kampala : Airtel Uganda, a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services, on Friday presented a dividend cheque of UGX 50.3 billion to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). This significant payout follows NSSF’s strategic acquisition of shares in Airtel Uganda during the company’s initial public offering (IPO). This payout follows Airtel’s 2023 decision to list in Uganda, becoming the second telecom company on the Uganda Securities Exchange. The company offered 8 billion ordinary shares representing 20% of its equity at UGX 100 per share.
