Hon Hillary Kiyaga inspects constituency projects, lauds local leaders

Mawokota North constituency Hon Hillary Kiyaga popularly known as Dr Hilderman continues to perform well for the people of Mawokota North County in Mpigi District.
After trouncing his former colleague Hon Amelia Kyambadde, Hon. Hillary is demostrating his actions.
He spent Friday in Bumoozi Parish inspecting different projects and later joined Moslems for Juma prayers.
After, he held an interactive friendly match between elected leaders and BBOZA veteran footballers. The leader’s team won on penalty shoot out.
“Thanks to the elected leaders for the interactive evening with our people. We can only get to know each other by dedicating more time to each other,” Hon. Hillary Kiyaga said.

Airtel Uganda Pays UGX 50.3 billion Dividend to National Social Security Fund (NSSF)

Kampala : Airtel Uganda, a leading provider of telecommunications and mobile money services, on Friday presented a dividend cheque of UGX 50.3 billion to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). This significant payout follows NSSF’s strategic acquisition of shares in Airtel Uganda during the company’s initial public offering (IPO). This payout follows Airtel’s 2023 decision to list in Uganda, becoming the second telecom company on the Uganda Securities Exchange. The company offered 8 billion ordinary shares representing 20% of its equity at UGX 100 per share. While the IPO raised UGX 211.4 billion, below the UGX 800 billion target, it attracted 4,614 new shareholders and marked a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to local ownership and capital market development.
