Airtel Uganda continues Nationwide Network Expansion to Improve Connectivity in underserved Regions
Kampala : Airtel Uganda, a leading telecommunications provider in Uganda, continues its nationwide network expansion to improve connectivity in underserved regions, and as of today, has successfully commissioned numerous new network sites across three regions in Uganda. The new sites have been launched in Northern, Eastern, and Western Uganda throughout the month of May. This strategic expansion is part of Airtel’s nationwide campaign to extend quality connectivity to underserved communities, reinforcing Airtel’s commitment to digital inclusion and national development. The extensive rollout has seen substantial growth in network coverage across all three regions. In Northern Uganda, Lira District has benefited from 15 new sites, including key areas such as Puranga, Aromo, Opwakere, ATC_Awiodyek, Lango College, and Okec Oyere.
